The symposium is aimed at specialists and nurse practitioners in the fields of intensive care medicine, neurology, anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine, internal medicine, infectiology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine and family medicine, who encounter patients requiring chronic ventilation.

Presentation of the current status of long-term ventilation of patients in Slovenia, Italy and Portugal with lectures by internationally renowned experts in the field of long-term ventilation and weaning from mechanical ventilation and removal of the artificial airway.
